Originally a packing-house operation during the heyday of the Arizona citrus industry, Sun Orchard’s juice business was created by utilizing one of the principles of sustainability – finding a valuable use for waste. The company had been simply discarding citrus that was not quite attractive enough for grocery store shelves, but the riper fruit made a delicious juice so good that Sun Orchard dropped the packing-house operation to focus on making fresh-squeezed juices.
