Applications are currently being accepted for the Spring Teen Diversity Dialogue Program
The Diversity Dialogue program is a series of meetings which will foster community dialogue about diversity issues, cultural tolerance and inclusion. The Diversity Dialogue program is a collaboration of the Tempe Human Relations Commission and the Tempe Diversity Office. It is designed to foster community dialogues in Tempe in which issues of diversity are discussed. Out of the dialogues will come a better understanding of self, community, and ways in which to improve the climate for diversity in Tempe.
Groups are led by trained volunteer facilitators. There are no formal lectures, the group learns from one another by telling their personal stories and listening to others life experiences. We begin each week with free pizza.
The program will take place on seven consecutive Monday evenings from 6:00 - 7:45 p.m Pizza is served at 5:30, the dialogues begin promptly at 6:00.
