Readers Theater is a dramatic presentation of a written work. Readers read from a "script" and reading parts are divided among the readers. No memorization, costumes, blocking, or special lighting is needed. The professionals at Essential Theatre organize free workshops for seniors at Tempe Public Library so they can learn more about the craft of acting and get the opportunity to perform.
