Genre: Alternative/Blues Rock
The Bellwethers' blues-fueled rock has ignited stages throughout the southwest since 2010 and their music is often featured on local and internet radio. For this special acoustic performance, The Bellwethers will be performing songs from their album 'Kismet', and well as their upcoming 2nd album 'Schizophrenic Zen', scheduled to release in late November.

ASU Lyric Opera Theatre: Hammerstein/Bernstein/Sondheim

First came Hammerstein, who taught Bernstein…who then taught Sondheim! Students from ASU’s distinguished Lyric Opera Theatre program present a cabaret style evening celebrating the lineage of these giants of the American Musical Theater tradition.

 Established in 1964, ASU's flagship Lyric Opera Theatre program is distinctive in that it combines training in both opera and musical theatre. Serving approximately 100 undergraduate and graduate opera and musical theatre majors from the School of Music, as well as students from the School of Film, Dance and Theatre, LOT is committed to preparing outstanding operatic and musical theatre performers for professional careers in the 21st Century.

Modern Jazz Trio "What's The Big Idea" recently released their latest album, 'Margin + Growth'
With a new album release set early 2017, "WTBI" performs 150+ events around the Phoenix area annually with residency venues including The Crescent Ballroom, The Clarendon Hotel, The Rhythm Room, The Phoenix Art Museum, The Cancer Support Group of Arizona, Four Eight Wineworks of Clarkdale, and many others. They also performed before the Grammy Award winning "Rebirth Brass Band" in 2016.

Indie/Folk quartet Whitherward returns to the TCA! Whitherward has four self-produced, self-published EP’s, a full length album in the works, and maintains a full-time touring schedule of over 200 shows a year. Whitherward is an Old English adverb that means “in which direction”. It’s the perfect fit for a group that constantly seeks to reinvent itself. There is forward; there is backward; and then there is Whitherward.

Flappers, speakeasies, and jazz collide for a 1920’s inspired EDGE night! In a nod to the jazz age, students from ASU’s distinguished Lyric Opera Theatre program present a cabaret style evening celebrating jazz standards from the Great American Songbook.

The Sink or SwimThey Sink or Swim

Don't let the seemingly young age of Phoenix, AZ-based The Sink or Swim fool you. Born and raised in Ohio, they followed their passion and moved out west, where they have taken Phoenix by a storm with JAVA Magazine claiming, "The Sink or Swim have established themselves as one of the brightest and most ambitious acts in the local music scene."

Music is the balance of structure and artistic expression. Singer/songwriter Ben Anderson writes and performs with balance as his mantra. He has released two Eps, Roosevelt Row and Where the Lights Go?, available at www.benandersonmusic.com. Ben performs around the Phoenix area, seen haunting the local popular music venues and clubs. His follow up EP is set to be out early 2017. Stay tuned!

Based out of Phoenix, Arizona; the Driftwood Quintet is a chamber group that is dedicated to crossing genres and bending boundaries in classical music. Through the work of Driftwood's arrangers, a performance can feature everything from orchestral masterworks and piano pieces to the imaginative soundtracks from the greatest video game and film composers. As tireless collaborators, Driftwood also seeks to create memorable experiences through collaborations with artists from a variety of disciplines, ranging from jazz musicians and singer/song-writers to dancers and visual artists.

Born out of a Mesa living room and love for video game culture and jazz music, Dratini on the Rocks brings their fresh artistic voice to the world of video game music.
