Twofold Marie | 6 pm
A tale of two Maries…
The story began one fateful evening in the deserts of Arizona, in a place where melodies are scattered and lady duos are scarce. It was the summer of 2011 and amidst a crowd of fellow Arizona musicians, two foxy ladies met for the first time and history changed forever.
Over the years, they bonded over a mutual love for whiskey, lumberjacks, and sweet, sweet music. Although they both enjoyed writing and performing with other musicians, they especially enjoyed doing it together. And so began TWOFOLD MARIE.
Prepare your ears for delicious lady harmonies, dueling double kazoo solos, a cornucopia of stringed instruments and shakers aplenty. Also, our lyrics are hilarious and insightful
(at least our moms say so).
