Tempe will honor the nearly 3,000 victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks at the 13th annual Healing Field tribute. The public is invited to view the display of American Flags representing the victims of that terrible day. A moving display of patriotism and unity, Healing Field is a free event presented by the Exchange Club of Tempe and The City of Tempe.
HEALING FIELD CEREMONIES & EVENTS:
Friday, Sept. 8 at 6:30 p.m. - Freedom Concert
Monday, Sept. 11 at 5:46 a.m. - Memorial Ceremony
Monday, Sept. 11 at 7:00 p.m. - Candlelight Vigil
This year's Healing Field ceremonies will be emceed by Christina Wagner (pictured right), Arizona Women Networking President and Ms. Woman Arizona United States 2016.
This year's freedom concert includes music from (pictured below from left to right) Grand Canyon University duo Rebekah Budiyanto and Jessilina Melzer, Valley Christian High School's Chorale singers, and the Arizona Band Flotilla, the second U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary band.
