Camp Challenge is a summer day camp offered during the months of June and July for youth ages 5 to 21-years-old with developmental disabilities. Campers will enjoy arts & crafts, games, swimming, music, field trips, bowling and more!
North Tempe Summer Day Camp
|Kid Zone Camps
Kid Zone summer enrichment programs are for kids in Kindergarten – 8th Grade. Flexible 2, 3 and 5-day schedules are offered, as well as full-day or half-day options. Camps meet in five locations from 6:30 a.m.-6 p.m. throughout the City of Tempe and run from May 28 - July 25. Kid Zone offers three traditional summer camps along with a camp for Middle School students and a specialty Sports Camp. All campers will enjoy age-appropriate curriculum and daily enrichment classes that include foreign language, STEM, nutrition, dance, theater, fine arts, leadership and sports activities. Camps will also include weekly field trips and special events. The Kid Zone program and its staff are DHS licensed and DES certified.
Hoop Star Basketball Camps for Boys & Girls
These four-day camps are offered in June for 1st-12th grade boys and girls, including specialty camps for shooing and offense. Camps will be taught by Coaches Sammy Duane Sr. and Sammy Duane, Junior and held at Corona del Sol High School.
KRC Volleyball Camps
Four-day camps are offered for 4th-12th grade boys and girls, including a skills camp for beginners. A Competition Camp will be available for all incoming 9th, 10th and 11th grade girls with club or high school volleyball experience. Camps will be led by the Corona del Sol Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach.
The Sportball program uses developmentally appropriate methods to introduce players ages 3 to 10-years-old to a variety of sports and activities. Children will learn new skills, explore their environment and develop confidence, all while being active. Choose from an array of Sportball camps including Floor Hockey, Coordination Camp, Parent & Child Sports Camp and much more! All classes are held indoors.

Arizona Science Center; STEM Summer Camps
Young engineers ages 6 to 12-years-old can spend their summer break with STEM! STEM is a state-wide, revolutionary program that integrates the teaching of Science and Mathematics by incorporating Technology and Engineering.
Young, aspiring dancers ages 7 to 12-years-old years will learn fundamental technique and choreography in each dance discipline: ballet, tap, modern and jazz. Students will be introduced to the basics of improvisational dance and partner work, as well as costuming.
Elements Amazing Electronic Piano Camps
This unique, award-winning method teaches keyboard skills to youth ages 6 to 12-years-old using real music that you know and love! Join the largest, most popular keyboard club in Arizona where students learn classical and traditional songs, as well as theme songs from popular movies and TV shows.
Learn magic tricks with simple props and entertain your family and friends with magic fun. Three-day workshops will be offered for children ages 6 to 12-years-old.
MOVIES BY KIDS®; Acting, Movie-Making and Animation Summer Camps
These unique, hands-on camps offer students ages 7 to 13-years-old the opportunity to conceive, write, produce, and direct animated movies, live action shorts and special effects segments.
Play-Well TEKnologies®; LEGO® Engineering Camps
Explore concepts in physics, mechanical engineering, structural engineering and architecture while playing with your favorite LEGO® creations. These hands-on and mindson workshops are suitable for LEGO® novices and LEGO® maniacs! No materials needed.
These full-immersion, language-learning summer camps are perfect for youth ages 6 to 12-years-old looking to learn a new language or brush-up on their Spanish-speaking skills. Camp activities will include vocabulary learning, conversational skills and Cultural immersion, including music, dancing and arts and more.
Young Actors Theatre
Young entertainers ages 8 to 12-years-old will have opportunities to develop their performing art skills including; auditioning, character development, improvisation and creative movement.
Young Artists Studio
Students ages 8 to 12-years-old who love art will want to participate in this visual arts-intensive
workshop where they will have opportunities to sculpt, paint, draw and create in a variety of media. Program ends with an opening exhibition of student work.
Youth Tech Inc. Camps
Youth Tech Inc. offers a series of interactive camps that focus on providing enrichment opportunities to students through the world of computers. Aspiring animators and designers ages 10 to 17-years-old can gain hands-on experience with various themes such as Animation, Video Game Design, Web Design and Gaming Academy (2D & 3D game design).
