School Arts Grants are available for arts programming for Tempe’s schools. Funds are available to expand and enhance the services already provided by school arts curriculum, programs and clubs. Grants can be used to fund services of artists and teaching artists, arts supplies, production costs, exhibitions, tickets to an arts program, transportation and space rental. Requests are available up to a maximum of $750 and do not require matching funds.
Monday, September 25, 2017 for projects occurring November 1, 2017-June 30, 2018
Applications must be completed by the organizer of an arts-based club, teacher, or the principal from Tempe Union High School District, Tempe Elementary District, Kyrene School District, or a charter school located within Tempe’s city limits.
School Arts Grants do not fund:
an organization or learning institution’s administrative or teacher salaries; construction or renovation of facilities, capital expenditures, reduction of debt, feasibly studies, receptions, lobbying expenses, re-granting, scholarship programs or awards;
§organizations that are incorporated for religious purposes or projects that focus on religious themes;
projects that have already been funded by a 2017-2018 Tempe Arts Grant.
