Arts in the Parks Grants are available to registered Tempe Neighborhood Associations and Homeowner’s Associations to bring arts to their neighborhood parks. This pilot program was created to enhance the quality of life in our neighborhoods and bring more community-initiated and informal arts programming to Tempe. Projects may be in the form of performances and/or visual arts exhibitions by local/regional artists and/or from Tempe schools.

Deadline to apply is May 1, 2017 at 5pm.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Available to Tempe neighborhood associations and homeowner associations registered with the City of Tempe.
  • Project can include music, theater, dance, school performances, visual art exhibitions, stage rental, equipment rental, production and event staff, marketing and print materials, trash services and restroom facilities.
  • Project must take place October 2017-May 2018 and be a free event that occurs at a Tempe neighborhood park
