Local 469 UAUA Local 469 Arizona Pipe Trades Apprenticeship
The Arizona Pipe Fitting Trades Apprenticeship Training Center prides itself in having the latest technology for classroom, hands-on, online and virtual instruction. The program is recognized throughout the United States for its innovative one-on-one training designed for the pipe trades professional. Apprentices become registered with the State of Arizona and all of the courses are college-accredited, with tuition assistance geared toward an associate degree in applied sciences.

AZ Sheet MetalSMART 359 Arizona Sheet Metal Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee
The Phoenix Sheet Metal program is designed to educate and train the most qualified sheet metal workers in the industry. The program is a five-year program that consists of on-the-job training and college accredited classes through Gateway Community College. A sheet metal apprentice receives wages and benefits while learning a vocation that will support them and their families.

IW 75Ironworkers Local Union 75
Ironworkers Local Union 75 Apprenticeship program provides training in structural, reinforcing and ornamental work, as well as rigging, machinery moving, and welding work. The program prepares and provides an opportunity for a career in the ironworker craft. During the four-year program apprentices can earn a competitive salary, work alongside experienced journeymen, and receive 10 hours of instruction every year, including college-level classes and safety certifications that will increase their employment opportunities.

IBEWInternational Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local Union 640
The Phoenix Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC) is a training program that combines the resources of the IBEW Local Union 640 and the Arizona Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). It offers the opportunity to earn wages and benefits while learning the skills needed for a challenging career as a Journeyman Inside Wireman. The Phoenix Electrical JATC requires each apprentice to complete 900 classroom hours and 8,000 on-the-job training hours. Some of the skills apprentices learn include installation of electrical wiring, alarm/communication systems, and conduit fabrication and installation. They also will be trained to understand and install/maintain the functions of electronic systems in today’s modern buildings and factories.
