Polling places and voting districts for the May 20, 2014 Special Election

The Tempe Public Library, 3500 S. Rural Road, will serve as an early voting site, beginning April 28, 2014 through May 16, 2014. The hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 


An election Publicity Pamphlet will be mailed to each household containing a registered voter in late April.

Tempe registered voters who have signed up to be on the Permanent Early Voting List will automatically be mailed an early ballot on the first day of early voting, April 24, 2014.  Early ballot requests can be made by contacting the Maricopa County Elections Department at 602-506-1511 or visiting their website.  The last day to request an early ballot by mail is Friday, May 9, 2014.

In order to be valid and counted, the mailed ballot and signed affidavit must be received by the Office of the County Recorder, other officer in charge of elections, or deposited at any polling place in Maricopa County no later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day (May 20, 2014).
