Double Butte Cemetery
is located on the southeast corner
of 48th Street & Broadway in Tempe. Established in 1888, Double Butte Cemetery
serves as the final resting place for many of Tempe's pioneer families.
Days/Hours of Service
The Cemetery is open for visitation every day throughout the year.
Service Arrangements
Services can be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00
a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Saturday services can be scheduled for an
additional fee.
Sales Information
Tempe Double Butte Cemetery now has casket space available for purchase!
Spaces are also available in the Memorial Gardens for the interment of cremated
remains.

Markers & Decorations
We allow no more than two (2) markers per space. All markers
will be installed by cemetery staff.
Decorations may be moved for maintenance purposes or removed if the items
have deteriorated. Glass items will be removed immediately.
Business Office
The Cemetery office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday
through Friday, except on City-observed holidays. Please call (480)
