o      Management patrols the property on a regular basis

o      Adequate lighting throughout the community

o      Access control – secured fencing around the entire facility

o      Curb appeal – is the facility clean and shows ownership

o      Access control gates

o      Surveillance cameras mounted throughout the facility

·       Application process includes photo copy of your valid driver’s license, 
along with securing your fingerprint and signature on the Crime Free
Lease Addendum.

·       Management staff participants in the Crime Free Self Storage Program 
offered by the Tempe Police Department

·       Purchase a round disc lock to deter break in

·       Check your self-storage locker periodically to ensure everything is 
secured.

·       Secure your most valuable items in the back portion of the unit

·       Maintain a current inventory listing of the make, model and serial 
numbers of your valuables stored
