To celebrate the 10th birthday of Tempe Town Lake, the City of Tempe is offering a free day of boating on November 7, from 10 AM to 5 PM at the SRP Town Lake Marina. Come enjoy the lake! |

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is the American Cancer Society’s premier event to raise awareness and dollars to fight breast cancer. More than just the name of a walk, it describes the amazing progress we’re making together to defeat this disease. This is your opportunity to join your community to celebrate breast cancer survivors, educate women about early detection and prevention, and raise money to fund lifesaving research and to support programs to help us reach a day when no one will have to hear the words “You have breast cancer". |

Food City Supermarkets will host its 7th Annual Copa Food City where a total of 96 soccer teams from all over the Valley will face-off in a three-day tournament. Three categories comprised of men, women and several children’s divisions, will go head-to-head to score the winning goal. |
