Volunteer Opportunities

If you are interested in volunteering your time with seniors, the Cahill Senior Center is always looking for volunteers! For more information, please call the Cahill Front Desk at 480-858-2420, Mon. - Fri., 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. Some opportunities are:

Bingo Callers
Bingo is played at Cahill on Mondays and Fridays at 1:00 pm. The games last until approximately 2:30 pm.
Kitchen Committee
On Fridays, when there isn't a special event scheduled, a hearty, inexpensive lunch is served at 11:00 am prior to Bingo. Volunteers prepare the meal and serve to participating seniors. A Maricopa County food handler's permit is required.
TCAA Kitchen Help
The Tempe Community Action Agency (TCAA) provides low cost lunches to seniors over 60 at Cahill on Mondays at 11:45 am. A Maricopa County food handler's permit is required. Food handler's permits can be obtained at no charge for volunteers.
