Hearing loss, the “hidden disability” is more serious than many people realize. This presentation, by William Schafer, Cochlear Awareness Network Volunteer, will give information on hearing aids, cochlear implants when hearing aids are not enough, the use of assistive listening devices, and for the hearing: how to communicate with the hard-of-hearing.

METRO Light Rail is actively and regularly testing vehicles in Phoenix, Tempe and Mesa. At any time of the day or night, you may find yourself near an operating METRO train. Now is the time to learn and practice the rules of light rail safety. Amy Bratt from Valley METRO will be on hand to answer all questions and educate us about this new mode of travel starting December 27th!
