Escort Business
 
  Description: Any person or business, who for a fee, furnishes, introduces or refers escorts to patrons.
  Fees: Application fee $500, Annual license fee $200, pro-rated to $100 after July 1st
  Code: Tempe City Code §16A-56 to §16A-70
     
  Requirements: Application packet must contain the following:

  • business application

  • individual applications for all owners

All owners must submit fingerprints - a background investigation is conducted on all applicants

 If the business is located in Tempe, that application packet is processed by:

                  1.      Building Safety
                  2.      Development Services
                  3.      Fire Prevention
                  4.      Police Department

A sales tax license is also required
