Please support Tempe Mayor Hugh Hallman as he runs in the PF Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll
Arizona Half Marathon on behalf of local schools and nonprofit organizations that support
youth, education and social services.
The Mayor's Run is a community-wide effort to raise money
for local education programs at Tempe High School, Marcos de Niza High School
and Tempe Preparatory
Academy, and the youth fitness and community programs of the Tempe Family YMCA, Tempe Community
Action Agency, Tempe Community Foundation, The Centers for Habilitation and Care Inc. at
the P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon on January 18, 2009.

Money raised for these schools will support the Jobs for Arizona's Graduates programs at Tempe High School and
Marcos de Niza High School, and the completion of a science laboratory at Tempe Preparatory Academy.

The mission of Tempe Family YMCA supplies programs that build a healthy
spirit, mind and body. The YMCA provides services and programs that promote four core values:
caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

Care Inc seeks to increase the effectiveness of the
government and the people of Arizona by training and educating
people of faith to engage in community projects and volunteer
opportunities

The mission of The Centers for Habilitation/TCH is “empowering people with disabilities since 1967.” TCH is the only organization of its kind in Arizona that provides such a broad range of services to people of all ages with disabilities.

The mission of Tempe Community Foundation is to “foster Tempe’s participatory philosophy, supporting programs and organizations that help and enrich our community.” Tempe Community Foundation was established by Tempe Community Council to ensure long-term funding for Tempe human

Tempe Community Action Agency is a nonprofit social service organization that helps families and individuals who are in need. The agency's mission is to empower community members to address basic needs to live with dignity, self-reliance, and optimum health.
