Tempe is among the first Arizona cities to gain light rail
and the only city to have it from border to border.
This system allows people to get from downtown Phoenix facilities such
as Chase Field, the Translational Genomics
Research Institute, the Heard Museum and the Phoenix Art Museum to Sun Devil
Stadium, Mill Avenue District and Tempe Town Lake as well as the many
businesses along the way.
