Open until the needs of the City are met.
CLOSING DATE:
Subject to closing without notice when the needs of the City are met.
HOURS:
Available for clinics and camps held during the summer and school
holidays;
Available for private instruction throughout the year; Private instruction
times
set to meet instructor availability.
DUTIES:
* Ability to meet and communicate effectively with the public.
* Extensive baseball/softball experience; experience
(playing or coaching)
at the high school, college or professional level plus experience working
with children. Retired coaches and players are encouraged.
* Ability to set up needed equipment for clinics, camps or
lessons.
* Enforcing various batting range policies and procedures
as they pertain
to batting range usage.
* Using moderate physical exertion in lifting and moving
equipment such
as bats, balls, etc.
* Performing other duties as necessary to ensure the safe
and proper
usage of Tempe's Kiwanis Park Batting Range.

SELECTION
CRITERIA:
Applicants whose experience and training are most clearly suited to the
needs
of the City may be selected for further tests or interviews. Criteria will
be based
job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities.
