Description:
The black and white photographs on the
buses represent the diversity of people in Tempe. The artist
incorporated her favorite phrases and poetry into the design. The
buses are electric and carry 18 passengers and are used as
neighborhood circulators.
The Tempe public art program is managed by City
of Tempe Cultural Services staff with input from the Tempe Municipal Arts Commission, a 15-member,
mayor-appointed advisory board.
