L to R: Good Girl Bad Things (seed bead
embroidery, cloth, wood), Ms. Yaga (seed bead embroidery, cloth), If I
were going (seed bead embroidery, cloth, zipperheads) by Christy Puetz.
The Post
Office Exhibition is an on-going exhibition of artwork by regional artists.
The birth of the
program came during talks between the city of Tempe Cultural Services Division
and the Downtown Tempe Community, Inc., (DTC). Since April 2002, the United
States Postal Service in Tempe has been the site of more than 20 art exhibitions
in downtown Tempe. This collaboration has been very successful in the city of
Tempe's dedication to further developing public art programs for Tempe residents
and visitors.
