December 2008 Bus Services Changes

In conjunction with the implementation of the METRO light rail system in December 2008, Tempe staff evaluated the Tempe bus system to identity opportunities to connect bus routes to light rail and make the overall transit system more efficient. Tempe in Motion gathered feedback on proposed bus service changes from May 22 to June 24 and again from July 22 to Aug. 19.  Staff reviewed all public comments and forwarded proposed bus route changes to the Tempe Transportation Commission on Sept. 9 and the Tempe City Council on Sept. 18 for consideration.
