FORENSIC COMPUTER CRIMES  

 

The Tempe Police Department Forensic Computer detectives investigate cases of computer fraud, pornography, drug use and trafficking, and other incidents where a computer was used when the crime was committed. 

Detectives use the latest technology to uncover fraud and gather evidence.  The facts and evidence associated with the crime are brought together and presented at prosecution.    

 

Crimes committed over the Internet can be reported directly to Internet Crime Complaint Center (www.ic3.gov).  The Internet Crime Complaint Center is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National White Collar Crime Center. 

 

 

The Center for Missing and Exploited Children provides a website with resources for parents, child care providers and others.  You can also file reports online if you have any information regarding children that are being exploited or placed in danger.
