The City of Tempe is hosting a public meeting to collect feedback on proposed designs for renovating the fishing ramadas located at the Kiwanis Park lake. City staff will also provide information on upcoming lake edge improvements. Residents and park visitors are invited to attend. There will be a brief presentation and staff will be available to answer questions.

Date: Thursday, Nov. 16, 6 p.m.

Location: Kiwanis Park Recreation Center, 6111 All-America Way

Please join us at the meeting to provide input. If you are unable to attend, you can also comment online from Nov. 16 – Nov. 30 at www.tempe.gov/ParkUpdates.

These improvements will be funded out of the city’s Capital Improvement Program budget, as part of the Parks Improvement Plan, which is reinvesting more than $30 million into Tempe parks over the next few years.  Construction is expected to begin in summer 2018.
