Movies in the Park
Friday, Oct. 27, Dusk (around 6 p.m.), Kiwanis Park (Baseline Rd. and Ash Ave.)
Introduce your little ones to the magic of E.T. on the big screen at Tempe's free Movies in the Park. Bring a blanket and a picnic dinner and enjoy the movie on one of the largest inflatable screens in the Valley.
40th Annual Family Halloween Carnival
Saturday, Oct. 28, 5-9 p.m., Kiwanis Park (Guadalupe and All-America Way)
Stop by from 5-9 p.m. to enjoy carnival games, live entertainment, face painting, food booths, train rides, inflatables, a toddler play area and more. Admission is free. Tickets are required for food and game booths, and can be purchased for 25 cents apiece. Booths are operated by local civic organizations as a fundraiser. Most activities require 3 to 4 tickets. The annual Family Halloween Carnival is presented by the City of Tempe and the Tempe Diablos.
