Tempe Opportunities Spring brochure is available now

Registration opens Feb. 21 for Tempe residents and Feb. 27 for all others. Programs begin in March.

TEMPE, Ariz. – The City of Tempe invites individuals and families to cook up something new this spring! Re-visit an old hobby, start a fitness routine or spend time with friends and loved ones this spring through a multitude of activities and classes offered during the Community Services Department’s Spring 2017 programming session. Course topics include: Adapted Recreation, Aquatics, Arts and Crafts, Boating, Books and Reading, Business and Computers, Dance, Music and Theater, Family Activities, Health and Fitness, Special Interest and Sports. Tempe’s quality programs are available for all ages and abilities at convenient times, locations and affordable prices.

The Spring 2017 Tempe Opportunities Brochure, complete with course descriptions and schedules can be picked up at city facilities or viewed online at www.Tempe.gov/Brochure. Tempe residents may begin registering for classes at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21. Non-Tempe residents may do so at 9 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 27. Registration can be completed in-person at a City of Tempe recreation facility, via mail, by fax or online with a major credit card. Most classes begin in March 2017.

The City of Tempe has upgraded our online registration system, making it easier than ever to find and register for classes and programs. In order to register for an activity, you will need to create a new customer account. The simple, step-by-step instructions can be found at www.Tempe.gov/Brochure. If you have any issues, please call the Tempe Recreation Administration Office at 480.350.5200, between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.

Ready to register? Here’s how:
1. Online at www.Tempe.gov/Brochure
2. In-person at one of the following City of Tempe facilities:
 Recreation Administration Office 
 Edna Vihel Activities Center 
 Pyle Adult Recreation Center
 Kiwanis Recreation Center
 Escalante Community Center
 North Tempe Multi-Generational Center 

3. Fax in a registration form with credit card number to 480-350-5058.
4. Mail your registration to: Class Registration, 3500 S. Rural Road, Tempe, AZ, 85282.
