Tempe Police Arrest Suspect for Surreptitious Video Taping
March 7, 2014, Tempe Police Officers arrested 26 year old Patrick Kennamer for surreptitious videotaping (class five felony) after he was observed using his cell phone to take “up-skirt” photos of a female victim while in Target, located at 1800 E. Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe.
Target security notified Tempe Police after they observed Kennamer going up behind the victim and taking multiple photos of her as she walking around the store looking at items to purchase.
When the victim was contacted by police, she had no idea that Kennamer had followed her and taken photos of her as she was shopping. Kennamer was contacted and admitted to the crime; he was arrested and booked into jail for surreptitious videotaping.
