Tempe Police Shred-It Event: Help Protect Yourself from Identity Theft

Free - Donations for Special Olympics Gratefully Accepted!

Post Date:11/04/2013
Tempe Police are once again hosting a Shred-It Event to help residents prevent identity theft.

Community members are encouraged to safely dispose of up to 50 pounds of no-longer-needed personal documents that could lead to identity theft in criminal hands.

Thanks to our sponsors, Shred-It Waste Management Company and Target, this event is free to community members.

Donations for the non-profit organization Special Olympics will be accepted in any amount you are able to give and a receipt provided. Each year, the Tempe Police Department salutes the courageous athletes of the Special Olympics during the upcoming annual Law Enforcement Torch Run, and this is just one additional way Tempe Police can support these great athletes.
