Get enlightened during your lunch hour with a series of quick lectures on concepts like the 20-Minute City, Desert Urbanism and Healthy Communities. As part of Tempe’s General Plan 2040 planning process, the City invites you to a brown bag mini-lecture series and discussion intended to expand your thinking about what makes an ideal community on March 26 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Tempe City Council Chambers, 31 E. Fifth Street.

Featured speakers Will Bruder (Will Bruder Architects), John Kane (Architekton) and Dean Brennan (Project for Livable Communities) will provide food for thought. Lunch is on you. Non-messy lunches and lidded drinks welcome.

Presentations and discussion will be recorded for rebroadcast on Tempe 11 and YouTube. For more information, contact Nancy Ryan at 480-350-8096 or nancy_ryan@tempe.gov. To learn about Tempe’s General Plan 2040, visit: www.tempe.gov/gp2040.
