  • Introduction: Helping Caregivers Find Meaning While Living with Loss

Caring for someone with dementia creates ongoing awareness of loss as the person with dementia is physically present but psychologically different from who they once were. This “ambiguous loss” is confusing and frustrating for the family and others who care about them. This class explains this loss and provides strategies for better coping to infuse hope and meaning into one’s life.

The classes are free but we ask that you register in advance; call 602-839-6850 or send an email to BAIFCS@bannerhealth.com noting the class you would like to attend.
