The LGF Foundation presents a public program on Arizona's state fossil.
Petrified wood comes from all over the world in a seemingly endless variety of shapes and colors. Arizona is famous for its significant and beautiful specimens of petrified wood, this presentation will include some of the best examples. Come see and hear about specimens from Arizona and other places around the world. You also won’t believe what else can be petrified. The Tempe based LGF Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to the creation of a world class natural history museum in the Tempe/Phoenix area.
